After guiding clients in Alaska for twelve summer seasons, we took a few years off to "pursue other avenues". We are excited about offering two completely different types of photo tours in Alaska this year. Recently I was offered to lead a National Geographic Expedition as an expert this summer on a 62-passenger ship exploring Alaska's Southeast islands from August 17-24.

At the beginning of September, a small group of Brooks Institute instructors were treated to a remarkable ten day high definition video course called Platypus Workshop taught by PF Bentley. We were introduce to the high definition video camera, audio equipment, lighting and Final Cut Pro. The following link is a short multi-media piece that I produced with the help of Brandon Watts.
